Keri Azevedo

Keri Azevedo (she/her) is a hobbyist photographer who holds an associate degree in English from Berkeley City College and recently received her bachelor’s degree in creative writing from San Francisco State University. Born and raised in the Napa Valley and strongly rooted in the Bay Area, Keri has the unique experience of growing up and living both as a city mouse and as a country mouse, which has helped shape a well-rounded view of both experiences. This, paired with a minor in critical social thought, a hybrid of sociology and political science, and a strong literature background, gives Keri a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards both regions face, while being able to diagnose their cause and effect, and the implications thereof. Keri finds it increasingly important to bring this perspective to her storytelling. She hopes to bridge the gap between strangers and share anecdotes of the human experience that are relatable to a multitude of audiences, and, in this way, build a kinder, more empathetic world.
