Arles, a city founded by the Romans along the Rhône River, is renowned for attracting artists. Bathed in golden light and surrounded by ancient architecture, Arles has inspired creatives of all kinds across generations.
Today, its architecture is often covered in urban graffiti or eye-catching event posters. The classic buildings are home to modern photography, music and art shows, festivals and shops, representing how Arles’ rich artistic past and present have intertwined over time.
