Ali Costellow (she/her) is a rising junior at Western Kentucky University, majoring in both journalism and visual journalism with a concentration in photojournalism and documentary. She spent the last two years in several reporting, photography and editing roles at the College Heights Herald, WKU’s independent student-run newspaper, and worked last summer as a news intern for the Lexington Herald-Leader. Ali loves to report on and photograph stories surrounding lifestyle, culture, politics, social issues, arts and fashion. Most of all, though, she enjoys amplifying the voices of those who deserve to be heard and sharing their stories with the world. In her free time, Ali enjoys admiring her fluffy tuxedo cat, flipping through the monthly magazines she subscribes to and listening to classic and alternative rock. Her work can be found here and here.
