Morgan Dunn is a South Carolina native and rising senior at the University of South Carolina, majoring in journalism with a minor in political science. Her choice in studies derived from her love for writing and passion for politics. She has been following politics since she was young and hopes to someday tell the kinds of stories that fascinated her as she was growing up. She also loves traveling the world to find the stories within unfamiliar cultures and hopes to be able to convey them to an audience someday. She contributes to her student-run newspaper, The Daily Gamecock, where she was the opinion editor for one semester and is currently a news reporter. She has interned for Hannah News South Carolina, where she attended committee hearings and took notes for lobbyists. This past term, she completed her capstone semester, where students work in a fully integrated newsroom. During that time, she was able to complete nine stories.
