Mariko Rath (she/her) is a first-year photojournalism student at San Francisco State University and a Bay Area native. She is new to journalism but, in her own time, likes to make short documentaries inspired by the styles of Michael Moore and John Wilson. She has been to France once before and is excited to strengthen her French. In her spare time, she loves to write, draw, make comics, watch movies and documentaries, and listen to music. She loves to travel and is beyond excited to explore the south of France, specifically Arles!
