Lydia Perez (she/her) graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in print and online journalism and a minor in labor and employment studies. She spent the 2023-2024 school year as a reporter for SFSU’s Xpress Magazine covering stories from animal shelter overcrowding to a reported decrease in alcohol consumption at the university’s campus. With some multimedia experience, she hopes to go into that line of work in the future. Joining The Arles Project, Lydia is eager to learn more about the culture and lifestyle of Arles while reporting on it at the same time.
