Visiting Urbino was my first time being outside the United States and it definitely won’t be my last. I loved being able to experience a culture that is so different from my own and seeing how the people here live life so much simpler. The workload at first seemed overwhelming, trying to learn a new language photography video and journalism all in one month, but now that it’s over I can see it was definitely worth it. The experience I’ve gained in these areas was a unique one, real life hands on, something you just can’t get sitting in a classroom back home. The little trips we took to the army base, the winery, and Benelli, are memories I will never forget. I will surely miss the beauty of Urbino and the many hills that kept me in shape from overloading on all that italian pizza and pasta.
