Josephine Bowman (she/her) is a fourth-year student at California State University Chico, studying journalism and news with a minor in sports media. Josephine was born and raised in Long Beach, California, where she lived with her parents and older brother before moving to Northern California for college. She is currently the managing editor for Chico State’s student-run newspaper, The Orion. She has been managing editor for the past semester and finds great joy in helping her peers create the best content possible. Josephine is passionate about journalism and hopes to pursue a career as a magazine columnist. She has experience in creating multimedia content such as YouTube videos and Instagram reels. In addition to editing every article before publication, she has shot photos for her student newspaper and contributed to its print magazine, which is published once a semester. This is Bowman’s first time in Japan. She is excited about opening her food horizons and learning a new language. She wants to thank ieiMedia for the opportunity to grow alongside her peers.
