Natalie Avellan (she/her) is a returning student at San Francisco State University, majoring in English with a concentration in professional writing and rhetoric and a minor in studio art. Currently a junior, she is excited to start working as a reading and writing tutor at SFSU’s Tutoring and Academic Support Center for her last two semesters. Natalie has previously worked as a content marketing coordinator at Molekule, an air purifier technology company, and as a freelance writer in the health and wellness space. She also volunteered as a writer for A Living Library, an environmental nonprofit. A San Francisco native, Natalie grew up in the Mission District and now resides in the Outer Richmond District with her husband and four cats. In her free time, she enjoys writing poetry about her neurodivergent experiences and hopes to one day publish a collection of her own.
