Ella Ehlers is a journalism student with a minor in communications at Iowa State University. She will graduate in 2025. Ella enjoys writing lifestyle articles and reporting for her school newspaper, the Iowa State Daily. Ella is participating in The Arles Project this summer, advancing her French language, journalism and photography skills. Her career goals are to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and to develop strong and meaningful relationships with people worldwide. Ella cares deeply about the earth and environment and is passionate about stopping the effects of climate change’. Growing up in Minnesota, Ella spent most of her free time adventuring outdoors, which sparked her love for nature. Ella is excited to continue her learning adventure while immersing herself in the culture of Arles, France.
